Mice to the Rescue

Mice to the Rescue is the first book in the Geronimo Stilton Heromice series. It is a children’s action-adventure novel written by Elisabetta Dami and published by Scholastic in 2015.
The book follows Geronimo Stilton, a mouse journalist, and his team of Heromice as they save Muskrat City from the evil Terrible Tony Sludge. Sludge has escaped from prison and is planning to plunge the city into darkness with a massive blackout.
Geronimo and the Heromice must race against time to stop Sludge and his gang of Sewer Rats. Along the way, they must use their unique skills and talents to overcome a variety of challenges, including a high-speed car chase, a laser obstacle course, and a final showdown with Sludge himself.
In the end, Geronimo and the Heromice are able to save Muskrat City and defeat Terrible Tony Sludge. They are hailed as heroes, and Geronimo is awarded the prestigious Mouse of the Year” award.
